This supplementary software is to accompany the case. With the help of a parameterized Excel file that accompanies this case, students shall play Carlos Alberto’s role and must define and quantify an action plan to present to the Board of Directors of Fabricato in fifteen days. Students may make changes to the variables: working capital, indebtedness, level of fixed asset investment, weight of costs and expenditure. They must also assess the impact of the country’s economic growth scenarios and the cost of the debt, as well as assessing the impact of the country's economic growth scenarios and the cost of debt. Finally, they must recommend whether Fabricato should continue in business or be liquidated.
