Abstract

Ana Barrera has worked for nearly five years creating the personal finance start-up Aflore as a part of the first cohort of Bogota, Colombia-based incubator Polymath Ventures. Even as Barrera and her team build a customer base within Colombias population of 'unbanked' citizens, they must overcome some challenges in their working relationship with the Polymath incubator. This case is a sequel to 'Polymath Ventures: Building an International Incubator'. It has been designed to be taught after that case, but can be used on its own.
