Abstract
Sushant, the plant head of Expressia Private limited, noticed the dipping productivity of the workers and identified the need for training of the workers. Sushant then planned a weeklong training program for the selected workers of each section of the manufacturing plant. The training program was focused upon discussing and hands-on experience of the new machine, technique of manufacturing. Sushant quietly noticed and recorded the performances of the recently trained workers. He found no significant change in the performances. He felt unhappy about this, discussed the same with the trainer, the trainer suggested Sushant ask the objective and feedback of the training. He did not find a satisfactory response from the trained workers, and to the utmost of his surprise, none of the workers knew the objective of the training, and they all attended the training because it was asked by Sushant to attend. Where did Sushant fail? What were the limitations of the training program, and to what extent the trainer is responsible for the failure?
