Abstract
Leadership is an important aspect of any organization. Every organization has its mission and vision statement. The success of the organization depends on the leader which governs the organization and guides it to success. This case narrates five situations showcasing good and poor leadership at Mount Aarambhite University, Bangalore, India, and Saint Stanford Business Institute, Finland. The case revolves around Dr Gaurav and Dr Nimisha where they share various experiences in a different situation in the form of narration and story. The characteristics of a good leader are flaunted; they include empathy, Flexibility, Unbiased, Visionary, Motivator, and Team player. A poor leader can destroy the organizational culture and have an adverse impact on the morale of the employees. On the other hand, good leadership always generates positivity and employees are able to connect themselves with the organization. A detailed description of the characteristics of a poor leader is discussed and it is compared with the qualities of a good leader. The case highlights the impact of leadership style on its employees and the organization.
