Abstract
During the five years since construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel started on site, the potential of digital technologies to transform almost all aspects of professional and personal life has accelerated radically. It is no surprise then that the approach to digital technologies in Tideway has also evolved. With this evolution has come substantial challenges: how can the benefits of technology be measured and articulated? How can leaders of the business ensure that the benefits of digitalization are maximised? This case presents an account of Tideway's journey at a critical point for the project and its leadership.
