Abstract
Apple Inc (Apple) had launched its most iconic product 'iPhone' in 2007. Apple had claimed that it had reinvented the phone; revolutionised how people communicated and even how they lived. Post 2007, Apple every year had launched a new model of the iPhone, with fresh versions that showcased path breaking improvements in design and technology. iPhones have been Apple's most valuable product and its main source of revenue since 2008. During the COVID-19 pandemic induced lockdowns too, iPhones had provided major portion of Apple's revenue. The iPhones seamlessly worked and integrated with products such as iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Home Pods and AirTag, produced by Apple. Sales of iPhones after having peaked in 2015, had started to stagnate. Apple had started to look for new ways to generate revenue. Market analysts were of the view that sales of iPhones would not grow appreciably in the future too. There were several impediments and challenges. In the changing scenario, what does the future hold for the fifteen years old iPhone?
