This is a part of a case series. This case deals with the situation wherein Keyur Joshi, a student of a well-known B-School, is exploring various options to carry out his term project as part of the Business Analytics course. He decided to work on the faculty's research data and received a research questionnaire and the data from the faculty. Keyur has gone through the questionnaire and understood the study's research objectives and the relevant variables on which data was collected. He realized the study's objective was to identify the factors influencing the recruiter's decision to select B-School for campus placements. To start with, Keyur explored various descriptive analytics techniques involving visual analytics and statistical summary measures to describe and understand the data.
