Abstract

Today the internet has a dynamic impact on every industry and plays a crucial role in the tremendous improvement of various kinds of services and operations offered by the industries. The new medium of internet adoption across business verticals like recruitment, education, real estate, food and matrimony is disrupting the way organizations carry out their businesses. But deploying the latest technology and internet for various product streams is not the only success factor for the organization’s growth. Some other vital factors influence organizational performance along with the adoption of new technology. This study aims to investigate the empirical relationship between Intellectual capital components and market value creation of the organization of the leading dot com company in India. The study provides valuable insight, where it has been identified how the Intellectual capital components, especially human Capital, contribute to creating value in the market for the company’s shareholders. To carry out this study VAIC model has been adopted. The analysis is carried out for ten years, from 2012-13 to 2021-22.
