Abstract
Understanding cultural differences is not only an important business skill. It is beneficial for any company because, if your company is culturally diverse, you can avoid making decisions that may hurt and alienate both customers and the community. Differences exist among all people, and the main purpose is to discover how diversity and cultural awareness could improve efficiency in any business, open new markets, create innovation, make people feel valued, and build loyalty. This case provides the students with an understanding of the definition of these topics and their importance and benefits in the workplace. Students will understand the underlying principles that drive desired cultural diversity and inclusion, as well as how to implement them. What should leaders do to foster cultural competence and become more encouraging of diversity?
