Abstract
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world''s big four accounting firms, introduced a unique training programme called ''Ulysses'', for preparing future leaders for running its global business in the 21st century. The programme focuses on nurturing leadership skills in executives through corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, working in partnership with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the local communities in the developing world. This case gives a brief sketch of PwC''s Ulysses programme, and provides scope for discussing how the programme makes a case for leadership development, ethics and social responsibility, and business strategy. A structured assignment ''305-041-4'' is available to accompany this case.
