Abstract
Pune based Vayve Mobility (Vayve) established a new category of ultra-compact cars for personal mobility and accelerated mass EV adoption in India. Vayve unveiled solar-powered car named 'Eva', at the Auto Expo 2023 held at Greater Noida, India. Eva was designed smaller and narrower in size to tackle everyday urban commutes and enable ease of parking. Vayve aimed at creating innovative electric cars powered by smart engineering and design. Expensive and advanced technology made with solar Photovoltaic panels, was used in Eva cars. With the rising growth in the EV sector, it remained to be seen how the addition of solar powered technology would fare in a price-sensitive market like India.
