Abstract
This case study is a role play in which students can team up in groups of 3 (although this can vary depending on the professor's vision of the pedagogy inside the classroom, we recommend that the group size does not exceed 5 students), where they prepare, formulate and present corporate finance recommendations. These recommendations are the result of empirical investigations through the use of linear regression methods. In this first case study, students will use Bloomberg terminals to extract a sample of listed firms from different industries. The presence of the instructor is important as students can ask for guidance and receive feedback while working on the case. This case study is the first step of a series of four cases that cover each step of the related analysis.
