Abstract
TIfE is one of the reputed Indian entrepreneurial development organizations based in Bangalore that trains and develops start-up enthusiasts. They are looking to hire two HR area candidates (preferably females) who can train these start-up enthusiasts for the HR issues that they may face in their start-ups; however, the stringent criteria for the qualification and compensation, along with a mandate to hire junior candidates on a contractual position seems to be a challenge. The HR manager of the company, Mr Kaushik (name anonymized), is in a dilemma after going through a tough recruitment cycle for around a month when he received a final list of four candidates with a combination of different skills and educational backgrounds. Out of these four, he needs to select only two; however, the promising profile of each candidate, coupled with their constraints, makes him wonder as to whom to hire.
