Abstract
Post-pandemic, Thai Airways International Public Co Ltd (Thai Airways), the flagship carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand (Thailand), was taking a much-measured approach while addressing issues related to organizational restructuring. Severely impacted by the pandemic, the carrier's operational performance worsened, and it filed for bankruptcy to restructure its operations in 2020. In broader terms, the entire process of restructuring aimed to give back the entire principal to the main creditor, the Government of Thailand, and strengthen the capital structure of Thai Airways. To recover from the impact of the pandemic, at the beginning of the year 2022, the aviation brand sold non-core assets to raise money to support business activities and initiated layoffs to reduce overheads. Given this situation, was the completion of restructuring was at sight at Thai Airways?
