This case puts students in the role of the protagonist Sergio Araújo, CEO of SolarEnergy, so that they can assess the company's next steps amid the arrival of new investors. SolarEnergy provides installation and maintenance services for photovoltaic panels in regions of Brazil. With shifts in the market and new government tax policies at the beginning of 2023, Araújo faces new dynamics and challenges. The new investors seek to multiply annual revenues by five within five years. Araújo and the investors have several alternative strategies.
