Abstract
Technological evolution and evolving consumer behaviours had been transforming the hospitality industry. Generation Z was poised to become the future of travel and they valued experiences, authenticity, sustainability and were digitally sound than any previous generation. The players in the hospitality industry had adapted to this changing trend and tweaked their marketing strategies and communication channels by understanding the preferences, values, and digital behaviours of Gen Z to effectively target them. Restaurants were investing in advanced digital systems, corporate social responsibility initiatives, health and wellness offerings and sustainability as a business strategy to set themselves apart from the competition. Hoteliers also had to diversify and enrich their culinary offerings to suit the tastes and preferences of Gen Z. Besides, the players in the hospitality industry promoted their dedicated workspaces and high speed internet connectivity as part of their offerings as Gen Z's preferred to work and travel at the same time. Through innovation, dedication and adaptability, the hospitality industry was redefining hospitality to meet the preferences and needs of the Gen Z. Would the hospitality industry succeed in attracting the next generation of travellers with its unique and innovative strategies?
