Abstract
Environmental sustainability was gradually gaining prominence among consumers as they were becoming aware that their well-being was linked to the environment. The effects of greenhouse gas emissions were causing global climate change resulting in changes in the weather patterns, melting glaciers, air pollution, and unfriendly desert environments. Over the years, many companies across various industries became conscious about the effects of greenhouse gas emissions and undertook various sustainability measures. One such company was the DHL Group which worked towards reducing the harmful effect of their operations on the environment through their green initiatives. The DHL Group was committed in their efforts towards achieving target of zero emissions by 2050. Despite their efforts, the company faced several challenges related to electrification of vehicles and devices. However, the company was firm on their mission to achieve the sustainability goals. Amidst this scenario, would DHL Group be able to succeed in their attempt to minimise the environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future in the coming years?
