Abstract
The decline of the business model of shopping centers is beginning to be glimpsed in Spain. In the US, it is already a reality and, in the next 5 years, more than 25% of the shopping centers that exist today will disappear, something that perhaps only post-pandemic changes can redress. Photographs of empty malls fill the Internet today, while in our country grand openings are still celebrated. From the symbol of prosperity and the era of consumption to the deepest abandonment. Will the new generations want to change their course? Will there be a choice of a sustainable model? Can new technologies recapture shopping malls' former splendor? The hypotheses are in your hands to design the strategy that makes it possible.
