Abstract
This is a Spanish version. Juan Carlos Rodriguez is a small investor in the Colombian stock market. Within his portfolio, he held shares of the company NUTRESA when a public tender offer (PTO) was launched for the company in November 2021. Juan Carlos had to decide by December 17th at the latest whether he would participate in the PTO, offering to sell all, part, or none of his shares in the company. In order to make a more informed decision, he considered it necessary to compare the conditions of the offer against the potential value of the company. Ideally, the decision he made should align with his investment objectives.
