Abstract
The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 14 'Life Below Water', intended to safeguard and uphold the use of oceans, seas, and marine resources. To fulfill this commitment, UAE made several sustainable goals to fight against climate change issues. One of them was preserving the marine life which was a significant agenda for UAE. The marine conservation organisations joined hands with the UAE Government and made efforts to alleviate the environmental and economic consequences. The UAE Marine Environment Sustainability played an important role for both private and public sectors. The UAE Government ensured the conservation and development of biodiversity to sustain biological balance and also safeguard the livelihoods of coastal communities. Although the UAE undertook various measures, the oceans were impacted by the maritime traffic which spilled oil, fuel, and chemicals into the waters. Even though, the road ahead was not easy, the UAE was determined towards ensuring biodiversity. Amidst this scenario, it was to be seen, how UAE would be able to forge a path toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future in the coming days.
