Abstract
This supplement is to accompany the management game. This is a five-part management game based on a short case study with specific roles for four teams of students. This management game draws out important teaching points about both the strategic application of information technology and project management. The game takes the form of a problem-solving meeting of company management with the chairman present. The learning group are split into 4 teams to play the roles of the four key characters: (1) the managing director; (2) the finance director; (3) the chief information officer; and (4) the business operations manager. Each has a brief that tells them how to play the role. Students have found this exercise to be both entertaining and educational, and have fully participated in finding a variety of different solutions.
