Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (402-009-1 and 402-010-1). This case reveals the reactions to the leadership conference of the top 100 managers. It shows that there were both positive and negative reactions to Parton''s agenda and to the conference''s attempt to motivate people to support it. These reactions served as ''food for thought'' for Parton as he proceeded in his efforts at pulling Marconi back from the brink.
