Abstract
TIM - Technion Institute of Management is the executive education arm of Technion, Israel''s science and technology university founded in 1924. Early in 2000, two years after launching its action learning-based Scott M Black TIM Senior Management Programme, TIM set out to evaluate its programmes and methodology. A few days after a particularly intense staff meeting led by Executive Director Yoram Yahav, TIM''s staff reviewed the minutes of the meeting. Against a background of demonstrable success, TIM sought to resolve the series of paradoxes by adapting its existing programmes to the changing needs of Israel''s new and established companies, creating new programmes, and revising or fine-tuning its underlying methodology.
