Abstract
The case gives an overview of the factory delivery programme for Mercedes M-Class Sports Utility Vehicles of Mercedes Benz United States International (MBUSI). The programme was designed and implemented with IBM Global Services as the consultants. The case deals with the features of the web-based solution for factory delivery, the problems in implementing the solution and also the benefits MBUSI derived from the implementation of the Factory Delivery Reservation System (FDRS).
