Abstract
This is the third of a four-case series (501-027-1 to 501-030-1). This case examines the e-business strategy of Enron Corporation. It describes the impact of deregulation on the energy industry and Enron''s moves to create commodity marketing networks on-line, specifically the launch of EnronOnline, a global Internet-based transaction system. Discussion includes financial and risk management tools, bandwidth trading, and deals with the entertainment industry.
