This case provides a look at a rapidly growing firm''s control system. It demonstrates how the unique measurement structure serves as the enabling medium for growth and questions if changes to the system are necessary. The daily profit and loss, introduced by the founder over 25 years ago, provides the common reference point during the company growth. Originally, NYPRO was a single injection moulding facility with a series of about eight injection moulding machines. Today, it has over 25 different injection moulding facilities located throughout the world.
