Abstract

This is the second of a four-case series (397-008-1 to 397-011-1). After exploring various options, Peter Boizot finally decided to sell Pizza Express by private auction. In mid-November 1992, Peter was scheduled to meet with the advisers to the company to discuss the final offers that had been shortlisted prior to making a final decision. Peter found it difficult to compare the different offers and he arranged to meet with his nephew, Mathew Allen, to help evaluate them.
