This case describes the birth and development of a small Irish clothing company, during its first ten years of business.The company operates in a niche market, and has been successful in building up a wide customer base in Ireland and the UK.This success has been achieved against the background of a turbulent business environment and changes in the ownership of the firm.Ten years on, the current owner of the business is faced with a range of decisions, the outcome of which will determine the future of the company.Teaching objectives - the outcome of the case analysis and discussion should be an understanding of the issues faced by an entrepreneur, striving to establish and develop a business venture.The case reader will be made aware of the challenges posed by a rapidly changing business environment, and the need for the enterprise to respond to and anticipate these changes.
