Abstract
Has feminism as both theory and practice served its purpose? Is it not the case that the powerful impact of feminist theories and feminist politics has been successful in compelling liberal and socialist theories to adapt in such a way as to accommodate the critical insights and contributions of feminism which they had formerly ignored or underplayed? This case study offers a text of an imaginary speech by a feminist who has come to the view that it is time for feminists to throw their weight behind broader social and political movements for change. This case will provoke active discussion in courses on political theory and feminism for at least two hours.
