This is the third of a three-case series (596-025-1, 596-026-1 and 596-027-1). The acquisition of Foodlines, after an inadequate due diligence period, results in receivership for the company, the break-up of the founding partnership, and the re-creation of Goldsmiths (Northern) Ltd, as one of the founders buys assets from the receiver and re-creates a sounder food distribution business in the north of England.
