Abstract
Communications Group Inc (CGI) faces a decision with which many small and medium sized companies will be soon confronted - international expansion. The question is how to do it and what foreign markets the firm should enter first? The geographic decision will vary depending upon the macro and micro economic issues in the prospective countries, and upon the concerns and abilities of the particular organisation. In addition the fact that CGI is competing in the telecommunication services sector will add some complexity to the decision making process. This case was intended to make business executives and MBA students aware of the changes occurring in the global business environment and the subsequent effect that these dynamics are having on market entry decisions
