Abstract
This case follows on from South Midshire Leisure Services (A) (393-009-1), which should be studied first. The central issues for discussion are the organisational and financial options open to the local authority, in terms of its compulsory competitive tendering (CCT) strategy for leisure services. The case provides information on the various options and identifies some of the issues raised during discussion of these within the local authority.
