Abstract
This is the second of a series of three cases, (387-044-1 to 387-046-1), which deal with the policies and organisation of the Northamptonshire Social Services Dept, with particular emphasis on the Kettering area. Case (A) deals with strategy and structure. The strategy and objectives of the Department, together with proposals which will form the basis of reorganisation are outlined. Case (B), (387-045-1), provides an opportunity for the evaluation of the revised organisation structure, and describes the new structure adopted by the Department. Case (C) examines service quality measurement and survey technique. It describes a survey of client and public views about the Kettering area provision of Northamptonshire''s Social Services Department.
