Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (186-009-1 and 186-010-1). Five years later, the company has undergone rapid expansion but the return on assets employed has not increased at a comparable rate. Expansion has brought about pressure on both management information and control systems. The company directors are agreed that a major programme of reorganisation should be undertaken and consultants are contracted to undertake a comprehensive internal audit.
