Abstract
The objective of this case is to look at the integration of marketing, export policy and financial analysis within a complex multiproduct company. In planning, companies need to audit their product lines and decide which are the most profitable, which should be geared for growth, and which should be allowed to decline or be eliminated. They also need to determine what emphasis should be put on exports. To make such judgements, managers need both marketing and financial information on performance.
