Abstract
Teaching objectives are fourfold: (i) the function of management services, (ii) introduction to office equipment, (iii) organisational problems involved in systems changes, and (iv) to give students experience of decision making under time pressure. Information on staffing levels, office equipment, etc., is given mainly in the form of appendices which are designed to help in teaching the student the importance of being able to sort and organise data for effective decision making.
