This case describes the experiences of a communal organisation, originally formed because of common career objectives. The Group''s emphasis later shifted towards emotional growth and interpersonal relations as ends in themselves. The case examines the issues that face the organisation from the perspective of its leader. He is concerned about the future of the organisation and the form of management needed for greater effectiveness.
