Abstract
This version of Texas Instruments concentrates on the description and analysis of the strategic planning and decision making systems of the company. In particular the case focuses on the evolution of the internal culture of TI and the interrelationship between its mode of strategy formulation and organisation structure. The case also examines in brief detail the strategy of TI in order to allow the students to evaluate the end result of the outcome of the planning and organisational context.
