Abstract

This case, based on the minutes of various committee meetings, describes the first stage of a campaign by an Anglican diocese to increase individual giving by promoting a standard level of giving. The aim of this was to permit the diocese to retain its current structure, particularly in terms of manpower. Students are expected to comment on the diocese's problems and the solution attempted. They are encouraged to form their own proposals, bearing in mind the problems mentioned in the case and their own personal knowledge.
