Abstract
Mr. Caracas, assistant manager of an export - import firm, has to make an important decision; whether or not to accept the offer of an English market research agency. The offer consists of a market research plan in Arabic countries and an "alternative solution" in USA. The situation is one of the first of this kind of business; cooperation in the field of market research between the two countries. The case reviews the offer itself, and a letter - written one week later - which summarises the results of a discussion between the representatives of the two firms.
