Abstract
The Mitchell Construction Group was one of the better known construction companies until it collapsed in January 1973. This case study traces the last three years of the Group from the standpoint of an interested onlooker. It is designed to give students an opportunity to make their own assessments based on information available at the time, rather than on that which only came to light after the Group was put into the hands of the Receiver.
