Abstract
This case deals with management of a highly diversified multinational corporation. Apart from issues of strategy formulation in the multinational, the case deals with business/government relations, the role of the Board of Directors, leadership style and the determination of political risk. The case can be taught from a variety of viewpoints. Successful role assignments have been the merchant bankers involved, outside consultants, the British and other overseas governments etc. This is an advanced case.
