Abstract
The case describes the problems faced by a builder in deciding the sizes of the tenders he should submit for certain jobs. It was introduced early in a 4- session course on Decision Theory. One interesting aspect of the case is the fact that the final decision is almost totally insensitive to the probabilities given.
