Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (473-025-1 and 473-026-1). The case is about the management of a chemical manufacturing plant at two points in time. Both cases concern mainly the organisation structure of the plant, and the perceptions and attitudes of managers who work in it. There is also some treatment of formal leadership and management development in the plant. The (B) case consists of a snapshot of these aspects of the plant in 1966. The (A) case deals with the position in 1960. The cases were used for drill in analysing organisation structure and relating structure to attitudes.
