Abstract
The case gives details on the French automobile industry, and on Simca from its origins to its takeover by Chrysler. The Company was later renamed Chrysler-France and the case gives details on Chrysler's management policy concerning its three European subsidiaries. The case also includes brand image studies on Simca and details on its product lines. The case is centered on a decision to be taken on the next advertising campaign.
