Abstract
The case describes the operational problems encountered by a small growing company in the plastic coating industry. Problem areas cover all aspects of the business with particular emphasis on the need to develop more formal operating and administration procedures. The case can be used either to introduce the problems of operations management on a broad front at the beginning of a course or as an exercise in the design of a manufacturing strategy at the end of a course.
