Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (667-010-2 and 667-011-2). Three months after the (A) case, production is still far short of the target. The new production line has suffered from inadequate supplies of material, faulty material, machine unserviceability and low employee productivity. John Burns reviews his experience to date. These two cases are intended to give an appreciation of the main areas of production management and may be used at the commencement of a course.
