Vic Wilson works in the office of an insurance company. He is friendly and conscientious, and does his job very well, as he has done for sixteen years, since he was twenty. And that''s why the new office manager is worried. Efforts to get him on to more involved work invariably result in his being returned to his original job. So he still does work which much younger men normally do for much less salary. This, the office manager thinks, is all wrong, and something will have to be done.
