Abstract
Needlessly obscure communication is a hallmark of corporate America-- but it doesn''t have to be. This article recommends several approaches to writing more clearly. Chief among them: favoring the kind of plain language that we use everyday when we''re not on the job. You can''t avoid the use of technical terms entirely, but it''s important to strike a balance between industry jargon and the simpler language we already know how to use.
