Abstract

Fostering real and lasting change in an organization takes more than issuing a directive from the top--it means getting involved with employees at all levels so that they understand the need for change and are willing to get involved. As this article demonstrates, sometimes it takes a bit of visual flair to communicate the urgency of a proposed change. Beyond that, it also takes the sustained effort of middle management to see the initiative through to completion.
